The Legend Of Zelda (Untitled RPG)

The Zelda RPG was a game I started working on in late 2005, using RPG Maker XP. By 2006, was canceled. I just didn't really have much to add to it.

The story takes place as a filler storyline to go after the Ocarina Of Time and Majora's Mask game storylines, where Link has returned to Hyrule to rest. Although there was only one area finished, Kokiri Forest, it does feature a few given changes to the area.

First of all was the cave to the Kokiri Sword, it is replaced with a maze where you will find a bunch of Rupees at the end. There's not much other than that, but if I could do more with RPG Maker XP, it would have more to it like a timer.

The second - and also biggest - change was that The Great Deku Tree was by now cut down. All that was left was its stump, too tall to climb. However, on top of the stump was a mysterious teenager with dark blonde hair and green clothing, wearing a dark green cloak. This teen sat here everyday, playing a soothing melody on his flute during the early hours of the day. Although few have spoken to him regularly, he helps the Kokiri as The Great Deku Tree did.

It's not explained who he is or what he's doing here, he just says it's where he belongs. In the story, he tells Link that something major is to come, and that he should be prepared. However, I never got far enough into finishing the Forest in order to bring up what was going to happen.

Although this is scraped, I may be including this mysterious youth in the rewrite for my Zelda fanfic, Darkness Returns.
