DVD Review - Disney's TRON (20th Anniversary Collector's Edition)

A somewhat unknown Disney film that I first saw in Kingdom Hearts II.

Disney's TRON
Type: Movie
Special: 20th Anniversary Collector's Edition

What Is It?

To make things easier, here is a description from the back of the DVD; When Flynn hacks the mainframe of his ex-employer to prove his work was stolen by another executive, he finds himself on a much bigger adventure. Beamed inside by a power-hungry Master Control Program, he joins computer gladiators on a deadly game grid, complete with high-velocity "Light Cycles" and Tron, a specialized security program. Together they fight the ultimate battle with the MCP to decide the fate of both the electronic world and the real world!

This movie, although made by Disney, is not a cartoon. It features some minor use of CGI, but otherwise uses actual actors.

Quality

I wouldn't know how good the quality actually is, but from when I watched it, it seemed pretty good for a film from the 80s.

Features

It's not much, but this film comes with a bonus disc featuring behind the scenes footage and making the series.

Worth It?

I would say this is good for a collector of Disney films, or a fan of nostalgic content.

Overall

Once more, it's worth getting if you're a nostalgia/Disney fan. Check it out, you might like it!
