Introduction
For those of you who don't know the series, me and my early group of friends had an RP group when the first season was the only one around, sometime in 2004 or 2005. The RP series lasted for a VERY long time, but sadly is no longer going on, and most of the RP's are long gone… Luckily, I have remembered a lot of character information required for this page. There is a LOT to read, so the history section is split within three sections, due to how long the series ran. Each, also, includes a different character appearance.
History
[Beginning: Age 13]
-Hair: Short brown hair, much like Jeremie.
-Eyes: Dark brown.
-Skin: Light.
-Shirt: Yellow with long sleeves, and three blue stripes across the right arm, as well as on the right of the torso.
-Pants: Dark blue jeans.
-Footwear: Dark Gray Loafers.
Originally this was strongly based on my personality. He was a very happy-go-lucky guy who just liked having fun. In Lyoko, he wore a shiny yellow (or Gold) suit of armor, much like what the video game hero, Mega Man, wears. He had a special ability to create electric energy through his hands, which he used when punching, simply with brute strength. He spent most of his time on Earth goofing off with Odd, occasionally being in trouble for pranks he and Odd pull on Sissi and her friends. Most of the time, they got away, though. After a while, Odd went to see his penpal, Jasmine, who later came back with him to attend Kadic. It was revealed later that she and Malunis, were long lost siblings, as they came from the same last name; Utashi. He was single, having some feelings for Yumi, but he stood aside because he saw how she felt about Ulrich. Later, he met a girl named Taelia (known from the episode "The Girl of the Dreams.") They were very close for a few months, until one day she had to move away and leave him. He was okay with it at first, but he ended up changing for the worst.
[Changes: Age 14]
-Hair: Longer than before, more bangs in the front and goes down to the neck in the back.
-Eyes: Dark brown.
-Skin: Light.
-Shirt: Dark red long sleeve shirt, likely is a sweater.
-Jacket: Dark Gray sleeveless vest, open.
-Pants: Dark blue jeans which are normal length now, with holes at the knees.
-Footwear: Dark Gray Loafers.
For a very short time, Malunis became Gothic. His personality changed a lot from there. He became aggressive, picked fights with innocent students and threatened them to keep it quiet. He had little patience and a short temper. And on top of all that, he started dating the most popular girl at school (Sissi), which made him even more of a jerk to his friends than he already was right now. It went on until Talia made a quick return. He broke up with Sissi and returned to her, and everything was alright… That is, until she found out about all of this. She talked to him about being just friends, nothing more. So that if something happened to either of them, it wouldn't cause such a dramatic change. After much counseling in the school, he cooled down a little from all the anger he previously had, but he was still not the same person. With his newly gained peace, though, he has slowly tried to be like his old self. Still has a short temper and little patience, but tries to be there for his friends when they need him the most. Farther in the series, he was bitten by a wolf creature made by XANA. It changed him after a few days, to where his temper was worse than when he became Gothic. He was also stronger, and didn't care about anything but himself. His closest male friend, Ark, went to spy on him when he ran into the forest. He witnessed Malunis transform into a werewolf, which was a major shock to anyone who knew. There was a fierce battle between the two, and both lost a lot of blood (though Ark donated some so Malunis could live). He discovered after this, he could shape shift into a wolf now, an error XANA made. He stopped using his energy power by now, and most thought he didn't even have those powers anymore. Since then he started acting differently, but not in a completely bad way this time. He was more care-free, enjoyed changing into a wolf and going off to a small lake by himself, just being at peace. Other times he was by the lake meditating, concentrating on making his Energy powers more powerful, but also easier to control. He also had a few small changes along the way. His wolf form gave him small fangs in human form. Because he was still a little young, they were small, but still not very normal. He also had braces at some point, which he tried to hide for a while because he was afraid that he looked strange. He encountered many challenges for his energy powers, most of which were people he trusted. Another fact, was at this point with his wolf powers, he had a new Lyoko form; It was a dark red Japanese styled robe, with a logo on the front and back which looked like three claw marks going across his body.
[Final History: Age 15-16]
-Hair: Even longer now, covers most of his forehead, and going down to the shoulders in the back.
-Eyes: Dark brown.
-Skin: Light.
-Shirt: Sky blue long sleeve shirt with darker blue trimming.
-Pants: Light purple jeans, a bit baggy.
-Footwear: Dark brown slip-on shoes.
-Other: Wears glasses now, thin frame.
During a trip to another country, Malunis was in an accident that no one knew about, and was gone for a while. The damages he received from this were somewhat minor, and he lived.. with some changes. He was in the hospital for a while but was returned to France after he realized everyone was worried. He had many bandages on his body, his left leg in a cast, had to use a wheelchair to get around, and wore glasses for his damaged eyesight. Later in the series, his rivals, workers of XANA, were threatening to kill his kidnapped sister, Jasmine. He went to Lyoko first, and discovered a special sword that only he could hold. Coming back to Earth, he was now healed by the swords magical abilities, no longer needing his cast. This was the Lyoko blade. It was strong enough to fight off XANA's minions, and worked through his energy power as well, making it only usable by his hands, only.
The series, like many do, ended. Their graduation marked their departure from High School and onto bigger and better things. Malunis left to live with his sister back in California, where she comes from.
[Future - Before XANA Reawakens]
-Hair: Same kind of style as [Final]. Has a light goatee.
-Eyes: Dark brown.
-Skin: Light.
-Shirt: Sky blue button-up shirt, sleeves rolled up.
-Pants: Dark Gray jeans.
-Footwear: White sneakers with red trimming.
-Jacket: Dark Gray sleeveless vest, open.
-Other: Wears glasses, similar to the ones in [Final].
Although not much info was given, there was a point in the series where everyone woke up as themselves, 15 years later (more or less.) Malunis still had the power to shape shift into a wolf, and needed glasses, but there were many changes. He was a cartoon animator(AnteFilms) and had two children, one which had the same shape-shifting abilities as he did.
[Future - After XANA Reawakens]
-Hair: Long hair going down to his shoulders on the sides, over his eyes in the front, and to his back in the back.
-Eyes: Dark brown.
-Skin: Light.
-Shirt: White navy-styled uniform.
-Pants: White navy-styled uniform.
-Footwear: Black boots.
-Gloves: Dark Gray fingerless gloves.
-Weapon: Often wields the Lyoko Blade.
Alternate timeline
7 years past the above time, XANA reawakened and took over the world. Malunis, at some point, along with other Lyoko Warriors, seemed to disappear. It was never explained why he/they disappeared, but they returned later at a later time. He, of course, is no longer an animator, but is the commanding leader of the Lyoko Warriors, wielding the Lyoko Blade as he did in the past. It is also noticed that he no longer wears glasses, perhaps because he has contacts or just cannot wear them in battle; This has not been explained.
Other Appearances
After this Code Lyoko RP series ended, there were various attempts at new series, as well as new versions of Malunis. They were all about the same, but different from this character, and didn't quite have enough time to develop as a good character, so there isn't enough information to say here other than the following:
One was designed by Kuraichan, whose information I've forgotten at this point, but my intention was to make him a bit clueless to Lyoko and all.
Another character ranges from 13-15, coming from America, along with him was his younger sister (12-13) Karen. Neither got to Lyoko due to the series ending quickly, but plans included Karen to have a brown fighting outfit, which resembled outfits seen in "Avatar: The Last Airbender."
Another was Hawaiian, who was an attempt to make a foreign character. He didn't know much English, so I was having trouble acting him out. He was also a fan character I made for Digimon. I may reuse him (or a character of similar origin) when I have more knowledge in Hawaiian culture and language.
